Beach Jazz Festival day 1

Yesterday was the first day of the street festival, it's where they shut down a 2 km (1 1/4 mile) stretch of Queen Street East, and have bands preforming at various spots along the street. Daddy's favorites are the Big Bands (he likes some of the music from the World War 2 era), like Duke Ellington and Count Basie.

Heading down to the festival we had our very own private public transit bus, which was really neat.

But there was much more interesting things to see too, like we saw a guy that had a bird with him, it wasn't a type of bird I had seen before, I think daddy called it a Pair of Keets or something like that. Well, that bird was just as trained as I was, it was comfortable being out in the big crowds just like I am.

Now for the really odd thing that we happened across (and I have a picture to prove it), we were leaving the festival and decided to get a picture of me on a fire truck. This is where what is called a happy accident happened, six girls all dressed the same came along to take pictures with the same fire truck. Well these girls were dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
Here I am by myself on the fender of the fire truck

And here I am with the Dorothies
Everyone agrees I make a much better (and cuter) Toto then some dumb dog, I need to get myself an agent.

To hot for most bunnies

But I'm not just any bunny, I've got a really smart daddy. Sure we have the cool box at home, and there are places that have cool boxes, there are even buses and trains that have cool boxes. It's the in between that we have problems with. So, daddy has outfitted my stroller to keep me as cool as possible when we are outside.

the bottom of the pee pad goes first

Then the ceramic tile

Then the stroller floor

The pee pad gets clipped in place

This is what it looks like when it's all assembled

This is what it looks like when it's in my stroller

Then this bamboo mat goes over that to keep me and the pee pad separate

My electric fan

All assembled and ready to go on an adventure

I have my frozen water bottle, salad, and fan

Daddy puts all that together to keep me comfortable when we go out, and lately it has been icky outside.

After running into several problems with people, and it being their word against ours. Well daddy has found a solution to that problem, and it's a tech device.
The tech solution

hidden so it goes unnoticed

This is a spy video camera

See the dot in the center, that's the lens.
Every time we go into a store we start recording just in case we run into trouble, when we get home we check the video then erase it if there are no problems.

Grandmas new truck

A couple of weeks ago grandma's car got broken into and the bad guys broke things that make it drive. So the people that protect cars and stuff said that it would be to expensive to repair her car, instead they gave her the money to get a new car.

Daddy just corrected me, it's not a "car", it's an SUV. It's a vehicle that moves and goes places.
2004 Ford Escape
According to daddy Grandma's "SUV" is a 2004 Ford Escape, in dark green with 'sparkles'. I can't wait to be able to ride in it, daddy says my car seat should fit better in the new SUV then it did in the old car. My car seat is supposed to have headrests for the back and front seats, Grandma's old car only had headrests in the front, so it meant that daddy had to use dozens of bungee cords to hold it in place.
Daddy says that we may get to ride in it on Monday, and not to worry, daddy will take MILLIONS of pictures both of the truck and of me in it.

Birthday greeting to a special boy

My cousin is turning 7 years old tomorrow, and me and daddy got him an awesome toy, it's a safe that you put together. It will be useful to him this time next year when his little brother is walking around, and getting into things, he'll be able keep his things safe.

Right now we're on the bus heading to great-grandma's house to fix her computer, and to drop off my cousins birthday card that daddy made.

The card has a bunny in a tuxedo, and he's saying "The names Bunny, James Bunny", because he is into the spy thing, the safe is also spy related.
